Diagnostic error continues to be one of the most common medical malpractice/patient safety issues. The impact on patients spans from frustrating to debilitating to fatal. There are multiple factors that create circumstances where delayed or failed diagnosis are more prevalent, and there are tools and techniques that clinicians may adopt that will reduce the frequency and severity of error as a result of diagnostic error or delays. This conference will bridge gaps and share key tools and techniques.
